From the Backyard to Your Table — The Lavel's Story

Since its humble beginnings in 1985 in my grandparents' backyard, Lavel's Legacy BBQ Sauce has been a cherished part of the Green Family. From neighborhood barbecues to family celebrations and Sunday dinners, the aroma of dad's sauce simmering in the kitchen always signaled something special ahead.

Over the years, he meticulously perfected the recipe — and soon, extended family members were clamoring for more, always asking, "What did you put on this, and when can I get some?" Despite his reluctance to expand, dad would occasionally fill up any available container just to share with family.

As I grew older, I realized this incredible flavor was something everyone deserved to experience. At 33, dad finally entrusted me with his recipe. I began sharing samples with colleagues, and their enthusiastic responses — "Why don't you bottle this and sell it?" — inspired me to take the leap.

In 2016, dad's BBQ sauce officially became Pop's Silky Sweet, which later became Lavel's - Original: a product born from decades of dedication and family tradition, now ready to bring joy to your table.
